A LETTER FROM A GIRL

The coldest day of December, 2000

Dear Boy,

As I watch this morning sun, I know that I’ll be facing another day, only much different from yesterday and from the passed several days. For this day onwards, I’ll be living without your presence. Actually, I knew this would really happen just even before we accepted each other’s loving company. It just didn’t came to my expectation that it would be this soon, so soon that I’m not ready yet to live on my own. Sorry, it’s just the fact that I can’t let you go.
But time heals own wounds. Maybe tomorrow, maybe on the followings days... who knows? I’m now looking forward to the day when I could cheer myself up a friendly smile upon reminiscing those sweet memories once I think again of you.No more bitterness... No more emptiness... Everything alright. Everything fine.
How are you by now? Heard that you’ve been into another lucky girl. Well that’s a good sign! You really seemed to have moved on. Nevermind me, I’ll be fine here.
Till the next time we meet...
Till the next time we meet...

Once yours,
Girl
